Our client is currently looking to recruit call centre agents. The company operates an outbound call centre in Sutton Coldfield where they contact businesses throughout the UK to update and maintain their large business database. The information they collect and update is used by directory enquiries and for direct marketing purpose.
Main duties as a call centre agent will be to make a stipulated number of calls to specified businesses in order to maintain the company’s business database. This involves confirming and updating information such as business names, addresses, contact names and emails over the phone and entering this data into the in-house system.
The information that is collected in the call centre is used to update business listings for directory enquiries. This information needs to be accurate so that the public and other businesses can find the business they are looking for.
Clients who use the data for direct marketing need the information to be correct so they are able to contact the right person to market their products or services.
This is not a sales role.
It is essential that applicants possess the following skills:

Hours of work will be either:
Mon to Thurs 9.30am to 5pm, Fri 9.30am – 1.30pm
Mon to Thurs 11am – 6.30pm, Fri 9.30am – 1.30pm
(If you are successfully selected for the role the shift that you will work will be down to the company)
These positions will be on a temp to perm basis with progression in both position and pay to the right candidate.
